Yesterday, the boiler was pulled out and disconnected, just on time for the return of morning frost, and generally, cooler temperatures. We’ve got no hot water (apart from the electric shower, probably the first time I actually welcome the damn thing with opened arms), and no heating! Woopy. We went to buy a small fan heater last night, but unfortunately it produces about as much heat as my left thumb, so possibly not a great buy, but there. Thank God Dolly’s also lent us a heater so at least it was toasting in the bedroom…
